Homemade Facial Cleanser

A Homemade Facial Cleanser can be made preservative and chemical free from ingredients that you can find right in your own kitchen. Many of us today are looking for a more natural way of cleaning our face that is free from the chemicals and preservatives.   So take a look in your kitchen.

For acne-prone skin yogurt and witch hazel are great ingredients.  Yogurt has a natural acidity that cleans the face and pores of excess oils and dirt.  The natural protein in Yogurt moisturizes the face.  Witch Hazel has antibiotic properties that decrease the swelling and prevent infection.

Add Young Living Lavender Essential Oil to any of the cleaners.  Lavender oil has antiseptic, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory properties and is very calming to the skin.  Note of importance about essential oils.  You must obtain therapeutic/medical grade 100% essential oils for the oils to have the desired health benefits that you are looking for.  They must be pure and unadulterated by chemicals or other fillers.  Look for 100% oils not 70, 80, or 90, as these oils are not pure.
